Lantek is a global company with a strong local presence. We work closely with customers and partners to understand their production needs and deliver software solutions that improve competitiveness, productivity, and operational efficiency. Since 1986, we have led the Spanish market with sheet metal software developed entirely in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Bilbao. Our portfolio includes CAD/CAM software for nesting, cutting, and punching, as well as MES and ERP systems for manufacturing management.
We support all major cutting technologies, including oxy-fuel, plasma, laser, and waterjet, across sheet metal, tubes, and profiles, as well as punching machines. More than 3,500 companies in Spain rely on Lantek solutions to manage their daily operations and production processes.
History
Lantek was founded in 1986. Its headquarters are located in the Álava Technology Park, 9 kilometers from Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Basque Country, Spain. In 2017, a second office was opened in Bilbao.
Since then, the company has expanded internationally. Today, Lantek is a global provider of CAD/CAM software for sheet metal cutting and punching machines, and a recognized developer of MES and ERP solutions for manufacturing environments.
More than 38,000 companies in over 100 countries use Lantek software to manage production, improve nesting efficiency, and control manufacturing operations.
R&D developed in the Basque Country with European support
Lantek’s R&D program is fully developed in Miñano, Álava. It is supported by the Basque Government and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

AFM – Advanced Manufacturing Technologies
AFM is also a member of CECIMO and ECTA, the European associations for machine tool and cutting tool manufacturers.
Lantek has been a member of AFM since 1997.
BAIC – Basque Artificial Intelligence Center
BAIC is an initiative supported by companies, startups, ICT providers, research organizations, and the Basque Government. Its focus is on addressing technological and industrial challenges related to artificial intelligence and data strategy.
Lantek’s participation reinforces its commitment to advancing AI applications and data-driven processes in the manufacturing sector, with a strong international focus.
GAIA - Association of Electronic Technology Industries
GAIA is a non-profit organization representing the electronics, IT, and telecommunications industries in the Basque Country. Founded in 1983, it includes more than 260 companies providing technology products and services.

Lantek participates in major international trade fairs and industry events. These forums provide opportunities to present CAD/CAM, MES, and ERP solutions, exchange knowledge with manufacturers, and maintain close relationships with customers and partners.
