The company will present its v45 suite, featuring new AI-based services and setting the stage for a new era in workshop operations. Throughout 2026, Lantek will participate in eleven international trade shows across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Lantek, the multinational and pioneer in the digital transformation of the sheet metal cutting and processing industry, will celebrate 40 years of continuous commitment to the sector at the upcoming edition of BIEMH 2026.
The sheet metal industry is undergoing a rapid shift toward smart factories, where connectivity, automation and data-based decision-making have become essential elements. Over the past four decades, Lantek has supported the sector’s development through the continuous evolution of its solutions and steady corporate growth, while remaining true to the core values that define its culture and its strong ties to the Basque industrial fabric: customer proximity, a practical approach and a clear focus on solving real workshop needs.
Lantek will mark its 40th anniversary by participating, from March 2 to 6, in one of Europe’s leading gatherings for advanced manufacturing and machine tools, BIEMH 2026 (Hall 5, Stand C29), held in Bilbao. The Alava-based company has a local office in the city, employing more than 100 people.
Workshop Digital Transformation with Lantek v45
Alongside its anniversary celebration, the company will showcase Lantek v45 at BIEMH 2026, the latest version of its software suite designed to drive automation and digital transformation in sheet metal workshops.
The main new feature is KAI, a cross-functional assistant based on artificial intelligence that supports technicians and improves daily processes. In addition, version v45 introduces enhancements in bending, palletizing, 3D assembly, nesting and production management, with increased connectivity between modules.
“Lantek v45 is not only a step forward in our technology, it has been designed to make the daily work of metal professionals easier, faster and more profitable. We have improved each module to deliver tangible advantages: from better material usage and more accurate planning to faster job preparation and more connected workflows,” says Juan José Colás, Chief of Sales and Marketing Officer at Lantek.
With v45, Lantek opens a new phase in the move toward intelligent manufacturing, with greater efficiency, integration and data orientation.
International Presence at Trade Shows Worldwide
Throughout 2026, Lantek will continue its active presence at major industrial trade fairs around the world. The company is scheduled to attend eleven strategic events across Europe, the Americas and Asia, reinforcing its international footprint and its close relationship with the industry in key manufacturing markets.
One of the most significant milestones in the 2026 calendar will be Lantek’s first participation in FABTECH Canada, one of the leading metal fabrication events in the country, taking place from June 9 to 11 in Toronto.
This participation represents an important step in Lantek’s growth strategy in the North American market, where the company has recently opened a new office in Toronto. The new location will facilitate direct contact with local manufacturers, technology partners and companies in the sector, within an environment strongly focused on industrial innovation and the adoption of new production solutions.
Other key events in the 2026 calendar include the FMA Annual Meeting 2026 and FABTECH USA 2026 in the United States; Global Industrie 2026 in Paris, France; SIMTOS 2026 in Seoul, South Korea; CIMES 2026 in Beijing, China; and MetalMadrid 2026.
