Advanced Connectivity

Under the name REPLICA, Lantek has developed a series of system integration mechanisms designed to increase a company’s productivity, have comprehensive control over the direction of the business, and accelerate response capabilities and correction processes in view of potential incidents.

Lantek has implemented technological solutions in different markets in various countries, each with its specific needs and problems. This experience has allowed us to consolidate distinctive integration mechanisms adapted to the level of maturity of each company. These mechanisms help plan resources, increase worker performance, and improve cost savings

Powersync

Lantek has developed a powerful integration mechanism known as Powersync, which focuses on the periodic transmission and synchronization of data in different formats between the Lantek platform and existing management systems in a company. To simplify data management and administration, Powersync allows defining the frequency and amount of information to be synchronized, thereby helping companies improve their operational efficiency and reduce costs associated with data management.

Powersync by Lantek is highly customizable, which means it can be adapted to the specific needs of each company, allowing for greater flexibility in managing business information. Furthermore, thanks to its periodic synchronization capability, companies can keep their management systems up to date in real-time, allowing for more informed and precise decision-making.

Powersync by Lantek is a comprehensive and highly effective solution for businesses of any size and sector looking to improve efficiency and optimize their data management processes.

Masterlink

One of the mechanisms developed by Lantek, the simplest but also the most effective in many scenarios, is Masterlink, which allows the transfer of orders between the company and the existing management systems, with parts and orders in one direction and results of their execution in terms of costs and time. This mechanism is suitable for those companies that only need a link to perform this transfer of orders and results.

Masterlink consists of four parts:

  • A Configurator
  • A method for Importing through XML files.
  • A module in Lantek Expert that allows the user to make the planning of jobs and the tracking of production orders.
  • A method for exporting information related to the nestings made by the user

The communication between any ERP/MRP system and Lantek Expert is made possible by Masterlink through its import and export methods.

All the required information for the realization of production orders will be provided to Lantek Expert by the importer. These production orders will be generated by the ERP system through the definition of XML files that meet the standards of the importer.

Once production orders are nested or finished, Lantek Expert or Lantek Wos will take charge of generating the required information in order to allow the external ERP system to manage it.

Masterlink enables the user to:

  • Import data on:
    • Sheets
    • Sheet parts
    • Operations
    • Geometries
    • Production orders
  • Export data on:
    • Sheets used
    • Remnants generated
    • Products created

Opentalk

Opentalk is an integration mechanism which allows any machine to communicate production statuses to other connected systems in the network.

The actions performed by the machine are communicated real-time via Opentalk. The connection timing can be configured: periodically, at a defined frequency, or on demand.

Once the operator has prepared the job in the machine and orders it to start, all events (start, pauses, end of job) are transmitted.

When Opentalk is active, Lantek Wos PLAY, PAUSE, and STOP buttons are disabled while the machine is in control. CANCEL button will be always active in order to handle emergency situations adding a confirmation message.

Opentalk makes possible to a normal machine to be converted into a cyber-physical system, able to “talk” to the cooperating software systems that manage the manufacturing processes, like MRP, MES, ERP, and others.

By using Opentalk, machines are integrated into the software and are able to cooperate seamlessly and without human intervention.

Opentalk brings full automation closer to become a reality. Shop floor operators will be more productive as they are to handle several machines working at the same time.

BIM Connector

Seamless integration with existing metal structure design software: Lantek’s BIM Connector cooperates with BIM systems (Tekla Structures, Graitec, SDS/2, etc.) through software add-ons that read files and reduce the flow of information and errors in data conversion.
