ABOUT THE ROLE

 

As part of the Operations team, this role will assist our customers. The CAM Customer Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot CAD/CAM software-related problems, help our customers install applications and programs, assist them with computer issues and explain technical details.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

The main duties are:

 

  • Consult, specify, install, configure, and provide support on issues related to: Lantek systems software suite, Database server and Postprocessors.
  • Support and implement small/medium customer projects in the CAD/CAM area.
  • Define solutions in exchange with customers.
  • Create specifications according to the customer’s requirements.
  • Train customers and employees in Lantek systems (on-site and online).

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Technical background, preferably Computer Engineering or IT field.
  • Experience in technical projects involving software in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft environment (Windows, IIS, SQL).
  • Knowledge of Lantek systems would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in the Sheet Metal industry.
  • Knowledge of databases: databases management, SQL Server.

  • Goal-oriented work within the framework of project implementation.
  • Willingness to travel.
